Since this season seems to be “the fall of burgundy and wine” {which I’m ok with} I’m thinking of some ways to throw it into the mix. Since I’m a redhead, red can be a little intimidating {red hair, red face, red undertones and then wearing red...eek!} but I find burgundy actually really complements my hair color and skin products/makeup take care of the rest.

I love this burgundy shirt {it looks purple in some pictures but I promise it's more burgundy}. It's long enough so I feel comfortable wearing it with leggings. Always keep it covered people. It's extremely soft and comes in multiple colors. I'm thinking about getting it in black as well! And adding a jean jacket over any outfit in fall always works.

Pro-Tip: Double up on leggings to make sure you don’t get any see-through spots!

The rest of my wardrobe tends to be very neutral ranging from black and white to different shades of blue so throwing in a warmer color every now and then usually isn't too hard. I do try to be careful with which seasonal trends I'm going to participate in. Usually color trends are pretty safe and will come around again but some trends such as flare jeans I need a really good excuse for. It just so happens that I love how flares make my legs look so I will be participating in that one. If you don't want to invest in any actual clothing pieces that are on trend then accessories are an especially easy way to throw a trendy color into your wardrobe. Whether it be a scarf, hat or new handbag. Below are some burgundy accessories I'm swooning over. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers!
