Topping it Off

I've shared my deep love of hats before and also my secret shyness towards them. But I've seen so much inspiration that shows how a hat can pull an outfit together. So my journey for the right hat - or hats - continues and I have started a little hat wall of my own! - with the help of a handy hubby :)

I've been very drawn to boater hats as a classic summer hat. I love the contrast of neutral/yellow straw with white and black for summer.  Crisp, clean and refreshing. Honestly, I think I'm falling into a straw/bamboo phase. I just keep gravitating towards its texture and shade. I'd also love to add a little structure and geometric play into my wardrobe. I'm excited to see where my new interests lead me as I curate my fall capsule - which I'm already starting to think about!

Outfit: lack of color boater hat / madewell ornamental shirt (secondhand) / gap crop jeans / no.6 wedges (sustainably made) / style bee x opelle tam tam bag (sustainably made) similar option

Also, I am obsessed with the color and texture of this wall so you will be seeing it in many more posts to come! And thank you to my wonderful and patient husband for helping me take these photos to share with all of you! <3

Cheers!
