I’m beyond angry and frustrated with our country but that means nothing if I don’t DO SOMETHING. My words are not important right now but I’m tagging people below whose words are. Please support them and learn from them. Also, do your own research and work to unlearn and relearn. I am saving resources that I am finding helpful and educational in the Action highlight of my stories. I will also include ways you can take action as well. True story about this dress. I bought it last summer when I was pregnant because I was insanely frustrated with my clothes. Nothing was fitting and even though I would try and thrift online & in person, I kept running into issues with waistbands and different style cuts just not sitting right. This challenge was not unexpected but I was tired and just wanted a dress that would accommodate my growing body, that I could wear after my pregnancy and that was a print and not just my standard neutral or solid color. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This led to this purchase and while yes sometimes I feel guilty that it is from a FF company, I wear this dress all the time and it gave me a ton of closet relief during my pregnancy. I actually loved it so much I bought it in two more patterns. I say all this to show that no one is perfect. You will have your moments of shopping lapses and it is ok to give yourself grace. It’s called a journey for a reason. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Exciting news!!! I’m partnering up with Esther from @estherrclark to host a June closet versatility challenge! The idea is that we’ll pick a theme each week then style a piece that fits that theme into five outfits and share those outfits Monday-Friday.
