Here is another look that I’ve been constantly recreating in my closet. And really I would call if a refined look but it’s actually a super relaxed look in disguise.
I absolutely adore the Florence pants by Elizabeth Suzann. They’re the perfect length, flattering silhouette & the linen is unbelievably comfortable. I truly think pants are the key component to a comfortable outfit. Sure skinny jeans can stretch and work up to being comfortable but when compared to a linen pant with stretchy waist band – and by stretchy waist band I mean your Thanksgiving pants’ stretchy waist band just elevated and sophisticated – skinny jeans are significantly inferior.
So then these lovely tummy saving pants paired with a tucked in blouse – easy to tuck in and not feel constricted because of that stretchy waistband! – and tall shaft ankle boots, it all just comes together 🙂
This outfit is perfect for a date night or happy hour. It’s dressy but super comfortable which is a secret goal of mine. Find refined/fancy outfits that are also comfortable. I love the look of tights under dresses but I can no longer stand tights. They are NOT comfortable.
So instead I’m on the hunt for alternatives and I think these pants are definitely one of them.
Outfit: zara olive blouse (old, similar here & responsibly made option here) / elizabeth suzann florence pants / madewell frankie chelsea boots / marc jacobs bag (I found it secondhand but taupe version here & ethically made option) / karen walker sunglasses (found secondhand!)
Cheers!
Allison
