Another super cozy outfit! Today was a little drizzly this morning but has so far been sunshine and a nice cool temperature. If you've been following along in my Instagram stories you saw that I threw on an extra outer layer as I ran out the door this morning! Since it was rainy and cold I wanted to make sure I was comfortable while I ran out for a coffee meeting and did some errands. Come to find out that a medium shade of denim looks wonderful with the colors in this look!

My favorite thing about this challenge is that it can be whatever you want it to be. Yes the rough guideline of 10 items is there but if you need to swap something out or if you want to focus on your main outfit and think of your outerwear as an accessory for the in between (like I did!) then you can! The main point of this exercise to feel content with what you have and get creative! So don't get too caught up in the pesky details :)

Style Notes

| FALL FEELINGS | Maybe it’s the blacks and the siena/cognac pants but this outfit is giving me major fall feels and Halloween feels too! I do like that the crop sweater is more of a faded black because it adds a little more depth to this otherwise black and orangish outfit.

| SUBTLE BOLD PRINT | I mentioned this in my fall 10x10 intro piece but this is one of my favorite prints (besides my stripes!). I’m trying to work prints into my wardrobe more to make my wardrobe a little more diverse and not so flat. This print is a wonderful stepping stone for me. It’s still in my neutral color palette but is still a graphic print.

| STATEMENT EARRINGS | When you have a print that takes center stage in an outfit it’s important to carefully think about your accessories. To complement the geometric nature of this outfit, I decided paired my Hera Wing Hoop earrings with it. They create a statement all their own but don’t contrast with the boldness of my top.

| ALL OF THE CROPS | While I was looking at this outfit I realized that everything is cropped! Cropped shirt, cropped sweater, cropped pants! I guess you can say that I’m a fan of cropped clothing :P Definitely something to take note of for future capsules!
