I feel like this look is my updated version of skinny jeans + top + cardigan. The straight leg and crop length plus the heels really elevate this look for me. In the past I probably would have done a traditional skinny and some sort of flat. Nothing wrong with that combo at all but I love how this is a refresh on one of my go to outfit formulas. Goes to show you don't need to add crazy wild pieces to change up your style. Sometimes it's just basic elements like cut or fit! And it does hurt to find a little heel that you can walk around all day in!

Style Notes

| SWEATER VERSATILITY | I mentioned how this was one of the most versatile pieces in my closet and I wasn’t joking. This cardigan is the same sweater from my first look. So cool! If you unbutton and fold the top portion of the buttons under it creates a beautiful drop sleeve cardigan! Just like magic :)

| STRAIGHT LEG PANT | I like how these pants blur the line between skinny and straight leg. The silhouette is seriously so flattering. The only draw back is that the fly is all buttons but the cut is so cute that I’m happy to overlook this matter. I also like how I’m showing a little bit of ankle as well as a little bit of wrist in this look. It’s a nice balance and creates a lovely flow from top to bottom.

| EXTRA LONG CARDIGAN | I really like how the cardigan elongates the entire silhouette. Instead of having a straight divide between top and bottom the cardigan carries your eyes through the outfit. It also feel so cozy when you’re wearing a long oversized cardigan!

| GRAPHIC PRINTS | This is my second look with this print top and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m more of a geometric print person than lets call it organic print. I like my prints to have structure. For example, tie die or anything with paint splatter might not be my jam but give me a stripe, polka dot or subtle graphic print like this top and I’m in heaven. This may change over time but for now I’m sticking to my structured geometric prints!
