I can get down with this outfit. It’s very similar to my second look but the rich earth tones are what set it apart. In the past my fall style usually fell into kind of a masculine, feminine, street style combination. This year I’m really trying to refine and focus those elements. This look speaks to the more masculine side but the earth tones add a certain softness to the look that I’m really liking. I think this look will definitely be in rotation after this challenge!
Style Notes
| RICH OLIVE | I’m always a little hesitant to wear green because of my red hair. If it’s too green I sometimes feel like a leprechaun 🙂 But I really love this olive tone and want to add more olive pieces to my wardrobe in the future. It’s a beautiful color for fall and it seems to be a tone that I keep gravitating towards year after year.
| HALF TUCK | To keep this look on the casual side I went with a half tuck instead of full. It’s super subtle but helps add a relaxed feel to the look.
| COGNAC ACCESSORIES | The cognac accessories also add a nice casual element. I don’t always match my shoes to my handbag but it does help to make the look more cohesive. Plus cognac and olive are so beautiful next to each other. Two of my absolute favorite colors for fall!
| FOUR COLORS MAX | I think four colors are my max for any outfit. If I had worn my black heels with this look, it would have felt overwhelming and in-cohesive to me.
