FALL 10×10 – LOOK 7

October 18, 2017 2 Comments

I fell slightly behind in my 10×10 but hey that’s life! Here is look number 7. I love the color contrasts in this look. The weather was a little warmer yesterday so this outfit felt appropriate. The weather is supposed to take a turn for more cold & rain so my looks will definitely be put to the test!

Style Notes

| OUTFIT THEME | I love playing with contrast in my clothing but sometimes sticking to a theme (like shapes) is a nice change up. I like to think of this look as my geometric theme. (wide leg, necklace, handbag)

| POP OF BLACK | Here I go with my pop of black again! It’s just so fun to play with. Whoever thought that black could be a pop of color! It’s like a sophisticated pop that helps bring a look together. In this look it draws your eye from top to bottom with the necklace at the top, clutch then heels. Yay for symmetry!

| BRIGHT FALL OUTFITS | This look feels very bright and refreshing to me. Mostly likely because it is comprised of “brighter” colors with the white top and cognac pants. I’ve been getting some wonderful bright fall look inspiration in the #10x10friends hashtag including this look by Paige of Style This Life. It’s a nice inspiration reminder that bright neutrals looks can be just as cozy as the warm earth tones in fall/winter.

how is that elastic band on the day heels? do they dig into your skin or push your foot forward into the toe bed?

      Hi Michelle,
So sorry for the delay here! I have had no problems with the elastic in my day heels but I know some people have. I think if it was bugging you it could be easily broken in after a few wears. Thanks for stopping by!
