About Nodo

The word Nodo means “knot” in Italian which is obviously very fitting for this brand. I am always on the look out for new up and coming brands that have a different point of view and that value craftsmanship and the intricate process of making goods by hand. That is why I was so excited that Sara (owner of Nodo) reached out to connect with me. I have to say what really drew me to this brand was their intricate unique designs and their versatility. They make a wide range of goods from knit hats to the beautiful brass earrings that I'm wearing in this look. I have seriously never seen anything like these earrings and this necklace is so beautiful. I also love their aim to take traditional knitting, crocheting and knotting techniques and make something that is fresh and unique. Their pieces are a beautiful marriage of history and modern aesthetic. Sara currently resides in London which is where all of her products are made by hand.

Styling Tips

| ACCESSORY ACCENTS | I love how each accessory adds a nice accent to this look. There is the pop of white from my sneakers, subtle gold from the brass earrings and the knit hat blends together the black and white color scheme of this outfit.

| DRESSES + SNEAKERS | I always thought this combination was too cool for me. Isn’t that funny. I just never thought I could pull it off. Then one day I just didn't care and decided to try it out. I absolutely love the combination and is one of my main street style looks. I'm still struggling to find dresses that I truly love but this jersey dress by sotela is definitely one of my favorites. So easy to throw on and looks wonderful with sneakers.

| ALL BLACK OUTFIT | I don't wear all black outfits very much and I'm not sure why. I love the timelessness of all black outfits and it forces you to be more creative with your textures. In this look my coat has a fuzzy wool texture that helps the outfit feel more dimensional.
